The Yard: San Francisco’s Pop-Up Village

The Yard at Mission Rock is a pop-up village constructed from repurposed shipping containers that house local food and drink establishments, pop-up shops, public open space, cultural programming and events, open 7 days per week, year round.  Locals and visitors alike love the casual and friendly environment that The Yard has to offer.

‘cool and fun outdoor atmosphere where you can grab coffee from Peet’s, beer, snacks and even do little shopping. I like the view of AT&T park which is less than a block away. The view of the water is great where you can see boat pass’ – Nuno V., Yelp

Less than a quarter mile from One Mission Bay, this unique neighborhood gathering spot offers neighbors the opportunity to experience the future Mission Rock neighborhood on a smaller scale. Nestled between the maturing South Beach neighborhood and the emerging Mission Bay neighborhood, the Mission Rock district will be an exciting, new, common ground for San Franciscans. The Yard describes Mission Bay with these 3 simple words: Fun. Outdoor. Relaxation.

So, where to begin?  The Yard recommends ordering the ‘newest experimental brew from the Anchor Beer Garden, usually first available exclusively at The Yard location! Your best bet of coming across one of these is on a “Firkin Friday,” on select Fridays throughout the year.’  The Yard is also perfect suited for an all-inclusive game day experience;  be sure to check out the pre-game packages at The Yard and plan your day in the heart of the action atop the Giant Steps and Champions’ Deck at The Yard at Mission Rock!
